- Remove paper from printer so it runs out of paper and gives you an error and stops printing
- (Left) Click windows menu in lower left corner
- (Left) Click “Devices and Printers” from windows menu
- Right click (not left click) on your printer and choose “See What’s Printing” from the context menu.
- You will now see your print job in the queue.
- Right click (not left) on the print job you wish to remove and select “Cancel”.
- Click “Yes” if it asks you to confirm.
- Wait a moment while it removes the print job and visually verify the entry is gone.
- Turn off printer to clear buffer (removing the paper before this step prevents a paper jam)
- Put paper back into the printer.
- Power printer back on.
